The Tikly Community Guidelines explain the standards we expect from everyone who uses Tikly. These rules help keep the platform safe, respectful, and trustworthy for creators, businesses, and visitors.

By using Tikly, you agree to follow these guidelines when:

  • Creating or managing pages

  • Sharing or shortening links

  • Interacting with others

  • Monetizing your content or promoting products/services

If you are unsure whether something is allowed, use these guidelines as a reference and choose the safest, most transparent option.

1. Be Honest and Transparent

Use Tikly responsibly and be honest with your audience. People should always understand what they are clicking and who they are interacting with.

You must not:

  • Mislead users about the destination of your links

  • Promote fake, non-existent, or misrepresented products or services

  • Impersonate individuals, brands, or organizations

  • Create deceptive pages designed to trick visitors (for example, fake login pages or fake support pages)

Best practices:

  • Use clear titles and descriptions for your links

  • Only claim what you can actually deliver

  • Use your own name, brand, or identity (or have permission to use someone else’s)

  • Avoid clickbait that misrepresents the content behind a link

2. Respect Other People

Tikly is used by people around the world with different backgrounds, beliefs, and experiences. You are expected to treat others with respect and avoid harmful behavior.

You must not:

  • Harass, bully, or target individuals or groups

  • Post abusive, demeaning, or threatening content

  • Spread hate speech or discrimination based on characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected traits

  • Encourage violence, self-harm, or any other harmful behavior

Examples of violations:

  • Threatening physical harm to someone

  • Using slurs or dehumanizing language toward a group

  • Coordinating harassment or encouraging others to attack someone online

If you disagree with someone, do so respectfully and without personal attacks.

3. No Scams or Fraud

Tikly does not allow scams, deceptive financial activities, or any attempt to trick people into giving money or personal information.

Prohibited activities include:

  • Fake giveaways or contests that never deliver prizes

  • Fraudulent investment schemes or “get rich quick” offers

  • Phishing websites that try to steal passwords, payment details, or other sensitive data

  • Financial scams, pyramid schemes, or multi-level marketing schemes that mislead participants

What this means for you:

  • Be honest about how your monetization or offers work

  • Do not request sensitive information (like passwords or full payment card details) through suspicious or unofficial channels

  • Do not promise unrealistic returns or guaranteed profits

4. Keep Links Safe

Tikly is built around sharing links. Those links must be safe and must not put users at risk.

You may not use Tikly to distribute:

  • Malware, viruses, or any malicious code

  • Harmful or deceptive downloads

  • Phishing pages that imitate other services to steal information

  • Dangerous software or tools designed to harm devices or data

Enforcement:

  • Links that threaten user safety may be disabled immediately

  • Repeated attempts to share harmful links can lead to account suspension or termination

Always verify that the websites and files you link to are safe and trustworthy.

5. Follow Content Rules

All content shared through Tikly must follow our platform policies. This includes content on your Tikly page and content you link to.

You are responsible for complying with:

  • Content Policy

  • Adult and Age-Restricted Content Policy

  • Children’s Policy

  • Digital Commerce Policy

If your content or links violate these policies, they may be removed, and your account may face restrictions.

What to do:

  • Review these policies before posting or monetizing content

  • Make sure your linked platforms (e.g., websites, stores, social profiles) also comply

  • Remove or update content that may conflict with these rules

6. Handle Adult Content Responsibly

Adult or age-restricted content must be handled carefully to protect users and comply with laws and platform rules.

If you share links to adult or age-restricted platforms, they must be clearly labeled and restricted.

Tikly may require:

  • Clear adult content warnings

  • Age confirmation notices (e.g., “18+ only”)

  • Restricted access screens or other measures to prevent access by minors

Strictly prohibited:

  • Any illegal adult content

  • Exploitative content, including non-consensual or coerced material

  • Content that violates our Adult and Age-Restricted Content Policy

If you are unsure whether your content is considered adult or age-restricted, treat it cautiously and label it appropriately.

7. Protect Children

Tikly has zero tolerance for content that harms, exploits, or endangers minors.

The following is strictly prohibited:

  • Sexual content involving minors, in any form

  • Grooming, exploitation, or attempts to build inappropriate relationships with minors

  • Any harmful content targeting children, including encouragement of self-harm, dangerous activities, or abuse

Enforcement:

  • Accounts involved in such activities will be immediately terminated

  • Where required, Tikly may report content or accounts to law enforcement or relevant authorities

If you encounter any content that may involve the exploitation or endangerment of minors, report it immediately.

8. Responsible Monetization

If you use Tikly to earn money or promote products and services, you must do so in a fair, honest, and transparent way.

Users should:

  • Clearly describe products or services, including what is included and what is not

  • Provide accurate pricing information, including any recurring charges or additional fees

  • Deliver what they promise within a reasonable timeframe

  • Honor refund or cancellation policies they advertise

Not allowed:

  • Fraudulent sales activity

  • Misleading claims about products or services

  • Selling items or services that violate Tikly’s policies or applicable laws

Make sure your business practices comply with local laws and regulations, as well as Tikly’s Digital Commerce Policy.

9. Report Problems

If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it. Reports help us keep Tikly safe and trustworthy for everyone.

You can report abuse or policy violations by contacting:

Email: abuse@tikly.me

When reporting, include as much detail as possible (such as links, screenshots, or descriptions) so we can review the issue effectively.

10. Enforcement

When users violate these Community Guidelines, Tikly may take action. The type of action depends on the severity and frequency of the violation.

Possible actions include:

  • Removing specific content or links

  • Disabling or blocking certain links

  • Restricting account features (for example, limiting link creation or monetization)

  • Suspending or permanently terminating accounts

Additional notes:

  • Serious violations (such as child exploitation, scams, or severe harassment) may result in immediate and permanent action

  • Repeated or ongoing violations, even if individually minor, can lead to stricter enforcement

  • Tikly may also cooperate with law enforcement where required by law

To avoid enforcement actions, review and follow these guidelines and all related policies.
