This Digital Commerce Policy explains how selling, receiving payments, collecting donations, and monetizing content works on Tikly, and what is expected from users who use these features.
By enabling or using any payment or monetization feature on Tikly, you agree to comply with this Digital Commerce Policy, in addition to Tikly’s general Terms of Service and any applicable laws.
1. How Digital Commerce Works on Tikly
Tikly allows you to monetize your pages by connecting a supported third-party payment processor. You can then receive payments directly from your audience for products, services, or other offerings.
Supported payment processors
Examples of supported payment processors may include:
Stripe
PayPal
Paddle
Paystack
Flutterwave
Razorpay
Onepay
Other supported providers (as made available in your region)
Availability may vary by country or account type. You are responsible for ensuring that your chosen provider supports your location and business type.
How payments flow
Tikly does not directly process or hold payments.
All payments are processed by your connected payment gateway.
Funds are transferred directly from your customers to your payment processor account.
Tikly provides the tools to:
Display products, services, or content for sale
Add payment buttons, product blocks, donation links, or subscription options
Route customers to your payment processor’s checkout flow
Tikly does not act as a merchant of record or payment intermediary. Your commercial relationship is directly between you, your payment processor, and your customers.
2. Who Can Use Commerce Features
Tikly’s digital commerce features are only available on eligible paid plans.
Eligible plans
Payment processing features may be available on:

Transferring funds
Sending cleared funds to your merchant or bank account.

Resolve any payment-related issues directly with your payment processor.

Any loss, damage, or dispute arising between you and your customers
7. Refunds and Disputes
Refunds and disputes are handled through your connected payment processor, not by Tikly.
Refunds
You must follow the refund policies and procedures of your payment gateway.
You should clearly communicate your refund policy to customers before purchase, including:
Whether refunds are available
Under what conditions
How customers can request a refund
Any time limits or non-refundable items
Disputes and chargebacks
Customers may dispute charges directly with their bank or payment provider.
Your payment processor will manage these disputes and chargebacks according to their rules.

Tikly is designed to work with reputable, secure payment processors.
All payment transactions are processed securely by the connected payment provider.

To enhance security, you are encouraged to:
Use well-known, trusted payment processors
Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on your payment and Tikly accounts
Keep your login credentials confidential
Regularly review your account activity for suspicious behavior
If you suspect unauthorized access or fraudulent activity, contact your payment processor and Tikly support immediately.
9. Policy Enforcement
Tikly may monitor or review commercial activity on the platform to help ensure compliance with this Digital Commerce Policy and other platform rules.
If Tikly determines, in its discretion, that you are violating this policy or engaging in risky or harmful activity, Tikly may take one or more of the following actions, with or without prior notice:
Disable or restrict your payment features
Remove or hide specific monetized content or entire pages
Suspend or terminate your Tikly account
