Learn how to invite team members to collaborate on your projects within Tikly without additional costs.
Inviting team members to your Tikly projects helps you collaborate more efficiently. By sharing access to your account, collaborators can work on tasks, use tools, and manage projects without needing to purchase their own Tikly licenses.
This guide walks you through:
Creating a team
Having collaborators create a Tester account
Inviting collaborators and setting permissions
Accepting a team invitation
💡 Important: Each app within Tikly works as its own ecosystem.
You must invite collaborators to each app separately. They will not see or access apps they were not specifically invited to.
1. Creating a Team
Open your administrator account
Log into Tikly using your main (administrator) account.Open the Setup menu
In the left sidebar, scroll to the bottom.
Click on the account name to open the Setup menu.
Select Teams System.

Go to “My Teams”
On the Teams System page, click on My Teams.
Create your first team
Click on the Create Team button.

Enter a team name (for example, “Marketing Team” or “Client A – Project Team”).
Click Create.
Your first team is now created.

Keep the Team page open. You will need it in the next steps to invite members.
2. Creating a Tester Account
To join your team without using an additional paid license, collaborators must have a Tikly Tester account. This allows them to be recognized by the system as team members at no extra cost.
Ask each collaborator to sign up at:
https://tikly.me/tester-mode/After signing up, have them share with you the email address they used to create their Tester account.
You will use this email to invite them to your team.
3. Inviting Collaborators
Open your Team page
From your administrator account, go back to the Team you created (or keep using the page you left open).Click “Invite Member”
On the Team page, click the Invite Member button.
Enter the collaborator’s email
In the email field, type the exact email your collaborator used for their Tester account.

Configure permissions
You can control what each collaborator can see and do inside your app. Permissions are grouped into four main categories:
3.1 View Permissions
These settings control which tools and sections the collaborator can see.
Under the View category, select the tools they should have access to.
For most collaborators, it is recommended to select All, so they can see all relevant tools.

3.2 Create Permissions
These settings control what type of content the collaborator can create.
Examples include:
QR Codes
AI Documents
Payment Processors
Other app-specific items
Check all the options that apply to what you want them to be able to create.

3.3 Update Permissions
These settings control whether the collaborator can edit existing projects or items, including those created by you or other team members.
Enable Update permissions for the types of content you want them to be able to modify.

3.4 Delete Permissions
These settings control whether the collaborator can delete projects or items, including those created by you or other collaborators.
Grant Delete permissions only if you trust the collaborator to remove content when necessary.

Send the invitation
Once you have finished assigning permissions:
Click Invite Via Email.
The collaborator will receive an invitation to join your team.

💡 Note:
Invited users cannot access account-level pages such as:Account settings Payment information Logs and billing
These areas are exclusive to the administrator account and cannot be shared via team permissions.
4. Accepting an Invitation to Join a Team
These steps are performed by the collaborator using their Tester account.
Log into Tikly
Sign in with your Tester account credentials.
Open the Teams System
Open the Tikly app.
In the left sidebar, tap on your name at the bottom to open the Settings menu.
Select Teams System.

Accept the team invitation
You will see a pending invitation to join the team.

Select Join Team.

Once accepted, the collaborator becomes an official member of the team and can start working according to the permissions you assigned.
