This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) explains the rules for using the Tikly platform. It is designed to help keep Tikly a safe, lawful, and reliable platform for creators, businesses, and users.

By accessing or using Tikly services—including link pages, shortened links, QR codes, analytics tools, websites, and any other related features—you agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy.


1. Purpose of This Policy

Tikly allows users to create and share:

  • Link-in-bio pages

  • Shortened URLs

  • QR codes

  • Websites and microsites

  • Other digital tools for sharing and monetizing content

This policy explains:

  • What you are allowed to do on Tikly

  • What you are not allowed to do on Tikly

If you do not follow this policy, Tikly may:

  • Remove or disable your content or links

  • Block or filter your links

  • Suspend your account

  • Permanently terminate your account


2. General Responsibilities

When you use Tikly, you agree to:

  • Use Tikly in a lawful, responsible way

  • Follow all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations

  • Take full responsibility for all content, links, redirects, and services connected to your Tikly account

You are responsible for:

  • The content you create, upload, or share

  • The websites and services your Tikly links or QR codes point to

  • Any actions taken through your account

You must ensure that your use of Tikly:

  • Does not harm other users or the public

  • Does not damage, disrupt, or undermine the Tikly platform or its reputation


3. Prohibited Activities

You may not use Tikly to engage in, promote, or facilitate any of the activities below. These examples are illustrative, not exhaustive.

3.1 Illegal Activities

You may not use Tikly for:

  • Violating any local, national, or international laws or regulations

  • Selling, distributing, or promoting illegal goods or services

  • Encouraging or instructing others to engage in unlawful activities

3.2 Fraud and Deceptive Practices

You may not use Tikly for:

  • Phishing websites or pages designed to steal passwords, financial data, or personal information

  • Fake giveaways, contests, or promotions intended to deceive users

  • Fraudulent investment schemes, “get rich quick” scams, or pyramid schemes

  • Impersonating individuals, brands, or organizations in a misleading or deceptive way

3.3 Malware and Security Threats

You may not use Tikly to:

  • Distribute malware, viruses, spyware, ransomware, or any harmful software

  • Host or redirect to links that install malicious software or compromise user devices

  • Redirect users to dangerous, compromised, or known malicious websites

3.4 Spam and Abuse

You may not use Tikly for:

  • Sending mass unsolicited messages or spam (including via email, SMS, social media, or messaging apps)

  • Artificially generating traffic, clicks, or impressions

  • Click fraud or any manipulation of advertising or referral systems

  • Abusing Tikly systems or infrastructure in ways that degrade performance or reliability

3.5 Harassment and Harmful Behavior

You may not use Tikly to:

  • Threaten, harass, bully, or intimidate individuals or groups

  • Share hate speech or content that targets people based on protected characteristics (such as race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar attributes)

  • Promote, glorify, or incite violence, self-harm, or harm to others

3.6 Unauthorized Access

You may not:

  • Attempt to hack, probe, or gain unauthorized access to Tikly systems, accounts, or data

  • Circumvent or attempt to bypass Tikly’s security or access controls

  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to abuse Tikly services or access features in ways not intended by Tikly


4. Misuse of Links and Redirects

Tikly links and QR codes must not be used to mislead or harm users.

Prohibited uses include:

  • Redirecting users to malware, phishing, or other harmful websites

  • Creating deceptive short links that hide the true nature or purpose of the destination

  • Intentionally obscuring or misrepresenting the final destination of a harmful or misleading website

  • Using Tikly links to distribute illegal downloads (such as pirated software, media, or other unauthorized content)

To protect users, Tikly may automatically:

  • Scan, block, or disable suspicious links

  • Add warnings or interstitial pages before redirecting to certain destinations


5. Platform Abuse

You may not attempt to disrupt, overload, or misuse Tikly services.

Examples of platform abuse include:

  • Overloading or attempting to overload Tikly’s infrastructure (e.g., denial-of-service behavior)

  • Creating large numbers of fake, duplicate, or automated accounts

  • Using bots, scripts, or automation to create, manage, or interact with Tikly content in ways that violate this policy

  • Manipulating analytics, tracking, or reporting systems (for example, by generating fake clicks, views, or engagement)

Tikly may limit, restrict, or suspend accounts that engage in platform abuse.


6. Content Compliance

All content shared, linked, or promoted through Tikly must comply with Tikly’s policies, including but not limited to:

  • Content Policy

  • Adult & Age-Restricted Content Policy

  • Children’s Policy

  • Digital Commerce Policy

You are responsible for reviewing and following these policies. This applies to:

  • Content on your Tikly pages

  • Content on external sites you link to

  • Products, services, or digital goods you promote or sell through Tikly

If your content or linked content violates any Tikly policy, Tikly may take enforcement actions as described below.


7. Enforcement

Tikly may monitor activity on the platform, including links and content, to:

  • Protect users and the public

  • Maintain the security and integrity of Tikly services

  • Enforce this Acceptable Use Policy and other Tikly policies

If Tikly determines that you have violated this AUP or any related policy, Tikly may, at its sole discretion, take one or more of the following actions, with or without notice:

  • Remove or disable specific links, pages, or content

  • Block or filter certain destinations or domains

  • Restrict or limit certain account features or functionality

  • Temporarily suspend your account

  • Permanently terminate your account

  • Preserve and, where appropriate, share information with law enforcement or other authorities if required or permitted by law

The specific action taken will depend on factors such as the severity, impact, and frequency of the violation.


8. Policy Updates

Tikly may update or modify this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect:

  • Changes in laws or regulations

  • New features or services

  • Evolving security, safety, or operational needs

You are responsible for reviewing the most recent version of this policy. Tikly will indicate the effective date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of Tikly services after any update means you accept and agree to the updated policy.
