This Children’s Policy explains how Tikly protects minors and how content related to children must be handled on the Tikly platform. Tikly is committed to maintaining a safe environment and preventing any form of exploitation, harm, or misuse involving minors.

This policy applies to all Tikly services, including:

  • Link pages

  • Shortened links

  • QR codes

  • Analytics tools

  • Any related features or services

By using Tikly, you agree to follow this Children’s Policy in addition to our other terms and policies.

1. Age Requirement

Tikly is designed for users who are at least 13 years old.

  • If you are under 13, you are not allowed to:

  • Create a Tikly account

  • Use any Tikly services

  • If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that a child under 13 has:

  • Created an account, or

  • Provided personal information on Tikly

Please contact us immediately so we can remove the account or information.

Tikly may take steps to verify age and may suspend or remove accounts that appear to belong to users under 13.

2. Prohibited Content Involving Minors

Tikly has zero tolerance for any content that exploits, endangers, or harms children.

The following are strictly forbidden on Tikly:

  • Any sexual or explicit content involving minors

  • Child exploitation or abuse material of any kind

  • Grooming, harassment, or manipulation of minors

  • Any attempt to solicit minors for inappropriate or illegal activities

  • Links or QR codes that redirect to websites hosting child exploitation or abuse content

If Tikly identifies or receives a report about such content:

  • The related content and links may be removed immediately

  • The associated account(s) may be terminated without notice

  • Tikly may report the content and user to law enforcement and relevant child protection organizations

Tikly actively cooperates with authorities where required by law.

3. Child Safety Protection

To protect minors, Tikly may remove or block links, pages, or QR codes that:

  • Target minors in harmful ways, such as bullying, harassment, or exploitation

  • Promote dangerous activities to children (e.g., unsafe challenges, substance abuse, or criminal behavior)

  • Encourage self-harm, abuse, or unsafe behavior involving minors

Tikly may also:

  • Suspend accounts that appear to misuse the platform in ways that could harm children

  • Permanently disable accounts in serious or repeated cases

These actions may be taken even if the content does not clearly violate other policies, where Tikly reasonably believes there is a risk to child safety.

4. Content Targeted at Children

If you create content on Tikly that is intended for children (for example, educational pages, kids’ activities, or family content), you are responsible for ensuring that it is safe and appropriate.

You must ensure that:

  • The content is age-appropriate, respectful, and does not expose children to:

  • Violence

  • Sexual content

  • Hate or harassment

  • Other harmful material

  • The content does not contain harmful, misleading, or dangerous material, including:

  • False health or safety claims

  • Encouragement of risky behavior

  • Misleading information that could cause harm

  • The content does not collect personal information from children without proper consent, in line with applicable laws (such as COPPA in the United States or similar child privacy laws in other regions). This includes:

  • Names, email addresses, phone numbers

  • Location data

  • Any other information that can identify a child

Tikly may:

  • Restrict visibility of content aimed at children

  • Remove content that is misleading, unsafe, or otherwise inappropriate for younger audiences

5. Data Collection From Children

Tikly does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

If Tikly becomes aware that:

  • A child under 13 has created an account, or

  • Personal data from a child under 13 has been collected without verifiable parental consent

Tikly will:

  • Take steps to delete the data promptly

  • May disable or remove the associated account

Parents or legal guardians can:

  • Contact Tikly to request review or removal of any personal data believed to have been submitted by a child under 13

Tikly’s handling of personal data is also governed by its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

6. Reporting Child Safety Issues

If you see anything on Tikly that appears to involve the exploitation, abuse, or harm of minors, or that otherwise violates this Children’s Policy, report it immediately.

You can report child safety issues by emailing:

When reporting, include:

  • The URL(s) or link(s) involved

  • Any relevant screenshots (if safe and legal to capture)

  • A brief description of why you believe the content is harmful or involves minors

Tikly will:

  • Review and investigate reports as quickly as possible

  • Take appropriate action, which may include:

  • Removing content

  • Suspending or terminating accounts

  • Cooperating with law enforcement and child protection agencies where necessary

Do not attempt to engage with suspected offenders yourself; instead, report the content to Tikly and, where appropriate, to your local authorities.

7. Policy Updates

Tikly may update this Children’s Policy from time to time to:

  • Reflect changes in laws and regulations

  • Align with international child safety standards

  • Improve protections for minors on the platform

When this policy is updated:

  • The “Effective Date” at the top of the policy will change

  • Continued use of Tikly services after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy

Users are encouraged to review this policy regularly to stay informed about how Tikly protects minors.
